Talaria XXX Upgrade Guide
The XXX is the Talaria that built the brand's reputation, and it has one of the deepest aftermarkets of any electric dirt bike. It also predates several changes Talaria made later, which is exactly why fitment needs attention.
Fitment first
Rotor sizes, forks and subframe mounting changed across Talaria generations. Parts made for the MX4 or MX5 will not reliably fit an XXX, and the reverse is equally true. Product pages list the models they fit, and that list is the only thing worth trusting.
Everything confirmed for this bike is in Talaria XXX parts.
Brakes
The first upgrade, as on every e-moto. Fade under repeated hard stops is the XXX's clearest limitation once you ride it properly. Oversized rotors help with both leverage and heat, and bracket requirements vary, so read the brake upgrade guide before ordering parts separately. Or take the simple route with a complete kit.
Wheels
Supermoto sets suit the XXX well and are among the most popular conversions on the platform. Expect changed ride height, gearing feel and possibly brake clearance. For dirt, fresh knobbies first. See e-moto wheels.
Protection
Frame guards and motor covers are worth fitting early if you ride anywhere rocky. The XXX's motor sits where debris lands, and a cover costs a fraction of what it protects.
Ergonomics
Wider pegs and bars or risers do more for how the bike feels than their price suggests, particularly for taller riders. Seats and covers address the other common complaint.
Looks
The XXX has a strong graphics aftermarket. Decals and graphics, plates and carbon fiber all fit here.
Hardware
Model-specific titanium bolt kits are available for the XXX, or buy individual pieces for specific jobs.
