Why titanium fasteners

Titanium resists the corrosion that ruins steel bolts on a bike washed after every muddy ride, and it saves weight over steel at comparable strength. On an electric dirt bike, where constant vibration and instant torque work fasteners loose, replacing rounded or rusted bolts is maintenance rather than decoration.

Fitting

Use anti-seize on titanium threads. Titanium galls when run dry, and a seized bolt is far more trouble than the one you replaced. Torque to your manufacturer's specification rather than by feel, and re-check after the first few rides.
