Light Bee 2 supermoto wheels: why convert

A supermoto wheelset swaps knobby off-road rubber for smaller-diameter rims and street tires. On a Light Bee 2, the result is a bike that turns harder on pavement, holds a line under braking and puts power down where a knobby squirms. If most of your riding is road, car park or tight technical tarmac, it changes the Light Bee 2 more than any other single upgrade.

It is a trade-off rather than a straight upgrade: street tires are the wrong tool on loose dirt. Many Light Bee 2 owners keep both sets and swap depending on the ride.
